How can an organizer help me?
We want your home or space to bring you happiness (and NO stress)! We offer judgement free suggestions and coaching to reach your personalized home organizing goals. Professional organizing does not only help hoarders or someone who is chronically disorganized, but it can help families, students, the elderly or disabled, business owners, men, women and individuals who are looking to reduce stress and increase productivity in your home.
How long will my project take?
It depends on which specific room or space you are looking to have organized, how much there is to sort through and organize, and then what is needed to be done with your unwanted items. Maybe you want to have a yard sale, or bring your unwanted items a donation site.
Before we begin working, we will provide you with an estimated completion time. Projects are not quoted “by room” because we only see the outside perspective of things until we really begin digging in. From there, your ability to decision make and assist in progress will also determine speed of the project. In cases where we work solo and you have already completed the decluttering step, the process moves very quickly!
What can I expect?
1. The first time we meet, you will take us on a tour of your home so we can evaluate your space. We will identify what is working in your space, what is not working, and what you expect by the end of our project. At this time we will discuss goals, expected completion time and pricing.
2. During our hands-on organizing sessions we will work together to create personalized systems and create permanent homes for your items as well as discuss tips and tricks to keep you and your home organized.
3. Following our sessions, we may provide suggestions (homework) to maintain organization in your home. The goal is to make your home organized and clutter free, a space that YOU are proud of! If any follow up visits are needed or regular maintenance, we are happy to assist you in any way we can.
Do I need to be there?
In many cases, we work together with clients. We need you for many decisions, thoughts, wants and needs through this process; especially when it comes to items such as personal documents. However, if you choose to not be present during scheduled visits and you have already completed any necessary decluttering on your own, you must be available via phone for any questions we may have.
How do you determine pricing?
Our rates are by the hour (see our services & rates page). Please keep in mind that hourly rates do not include additional organizational products (ex. baskets/bins) that you may want to add to your space.
